However, the construction of a house is rather expensive due to stricter limits for energy consumption. These limits will start to apply starting from the following year. According to these limits, new buildings will have to have lower energy consumption by one fifth in comparison to their current consumption. The higher price will consequently result from an increased quality of thermal insulation. This information was published in leading Czech media led by for example Hospodářské noviny.
